Providing you with solutions since 1997
COTTEE Transport Planning offers consulting services to analyse and solve Transport problems arising from development schemes. We work with our clients and their consultant teams from start to finish, focusing on their needs while producing new ideas, and developing effective strategies to achieve positive outcomes.

Development projects can have implications for roads, public transport, cyclists and pedestrians. In addition, car parking, servicing and Travel Planning need to be addressed.

To achieve successful outcomes these issues need to be addressed by experts.
We identify key transport issues, analyse them and find solutions so our clients realise their development aims. This is achieved by our team of specialists who have an in-depth understanding of the planning process and the skills needed to negotiate successful outcomes with planning and highways officers.
TRANSPORT PLANNING SERVICES
At COTTEE Transport Planning, quality of work and service is our utmost priority. Our team of Transport Planners aim to provide solutions in a range of areas including:
OUR PROJECTS
We undertake projects ranging from small scale (single house or business unit) to very large scale developments comprising hundreds of homes or large scale commercial schemes involving the modelling of multiple junctions to assess transport impact.
ST JAMES DOVER – RETAIL, RESTAURANT, HOTEL AND LEISURE
St James is located a short distance from the Port of Dover and a short walk from local transport in the town. COTTEE undertook Transport Master Planning through to a Compulsory Purchase Order / Stopping Up Order Inquiry culminating in a Transport Assessment which involved successful negotiations with Kent Highways and Highways England to deliver this key regeneration project for Dover. Key issues involved parking, servicing, and impact on the key A20 trunk road route into Dover port A20 immediately adjacent to the site.

PORT ONE LOGISTICS PARK IPSWICH
COTTEE delivered a successful outcome on transport matters with consent for 800,000 sq ft of high bay warehouse adjacent to the A14 Ipswich. This involved negotiations with Suffolk County Council and Highways England to secure consent together with Travel Planning to ensure access by non-car modes to this key employment site.
VICTORIA QUARTER NEW BARNET – 300 APARTMENTS
COTTEE secured approval for this new large residential quarter in north London accessed from a congested road network. The work involved a Transport Assessment and detailed negotiations with the London Borough and Transport for London to deliver a scheme with multi modal access to the road network, rail and bus services, cycle and pedestrian routes. A Pedestrian Environment Review System (PERS) and safety audits were undertaken.
